met up with eva, tiffy n jiayi @ bugis for a gathering for the bunch of us who left the company. actually planned to go eva's hse for steamboat but her neighbour renovating so abit noisy. angelia sick so couldnt join us. had lunch at ajitei bugis (this other restaurant ajisen opened which previously nvr tried b4 except for dessert which was so-so, coz the place ventilation not very gd, hate smelling like food aft meal ;p)...

order a whole bunch of things which came very fast, maybe coz of the odd hr we went there, ard 3plus. food was amazing nice compared to the so-so overpriced dessert i tasted previously. hung around bugis junction n later bugis st for some shop shop aft dinner. .JPG)
father's day cum sending matt off @ airport
made reservations @ crystal jade @ t2 last sunday so that can celebrate fathers' day cum send matt off for his airforce training in aussie. tis is juz the initial stage, whether he can stay on depends on this 1mth plus coz the elimination rate veri high, maybe out of the 7 of them going, onli 1 or 2 can pass so hope matt can beat them all even though he the oldest amongst the bunch.

apparently reservations had little use at places like crystal jade coz they dun actually reserve a table for u (i.e. those with "reserved" sign which no one can take), they'll juz allocate numbers when u reach so why the hack do they let pple reserve for. amazing crowded on fathers' day even though itz at the airport, there were queues at all the restaurant. food ok but proportion abit small though. had hoped to eat dim-sum but dinner dun hv...

food we were there kinda early so by the time we finished at 9plus, we realised we had to wait till 11.30pm coz his flight was actually 1.20am. went jalan jalan at supermkt n eventually ended up at starbucks to rot at their sofa till times up.
the expensive starbucks bear at the counter (25plus n its really kinda small, look at how it compares to the banana we placed there ;p)

no particular festival but mum juz felt like going there to pray so tagged along... happen to see this procession of the deities, apparently, the deities from other temples come out of their own temple to visit the other temples once in a while, when i mean come out, doesn't mean they bring the actual statues out but the deities will possess on these mediums/devotees and go round.

monkey god paying respects to a indian deity residing in the same temple (talk abt mutli-racial sia) was supposed to be looking at the ceremony n stuff but got abit distracted by the lovely sunset so decided to focus more on the sunset coz might be one of the last chances since the temple will shift fr this scenic location inwards by aug. so sad coz the view's great n the openess allows the sea breeze to cool the whole place down. so difficult to find temples right beside the sea with all our reclamation going on.

bought a bottle of new perfume, guess by who? chupa chups!! (the ones who brought u ur favourite childhood lolly).. quite mild but there's some sorta sweet candy smell dat lingers (or could it be my imagination coz of the brand :P)
