a hectic week with the shift n lotsa ot daily including today?!!, worked a full 8hrs on sat!! the onli day which din hv to stay back was tues coz it was my sis nancy's hen nite :P
she booked 5 ticks for this show called exotica @ gotham @ clarke quay for herself, her sis n the 3 of us (me, rachel n stepanie who r supposed to be her "sistas" on her wedding day)... knocked off promptly but was held back abit coz i ruined my makeup!! dunno y the makeup became flaky when i tried to touch up, dunno whether itz too dry (with stronger aircon @ new office) or coz of my moisturiser?? luckily there was a facial cleanser in the toilet, dunno whose has always been there everytime i went there n washed off my original make up to redo in the cubicles coz dun wanna be seen as a vain pot at new office mah ;p
managed to figure my way to clarke quay fr new office on time but alas, the bride n gang were veri late, supposed to meet at 7.20 but onli turned up @ 8 ;p... met her fren steph 1st, nvr seen her b4 so we juz walked round while talking on our mobiles to try to find each other. the 2 of us went to the restuarant (the "tent") 1st n sat ard to chat abit while waiting for the others to turn up. was surprised that during the half hr we were inside, no other customers were ard so we were wondering if the sales for the day was even enough for the ingredients, staff, utilities n rental? even by 9plus, there were onli 10 customers including us...

the moment the bride reached, we made her put on the veil which steph made so she had to walk round the restuarant n ate with it on her head. dinner was some sort of mongolian buffet which was really wierd coz u basically select a variety (which was minimal) of ingredients and select a sauce then pass it to the chef to fry it for u on the hot plate... abit ex for wat we were getting, ard 26+++ per pax. we also ordered a bottle of hse wine which rachel n me had minimal of...
after dinner, we made her put on the feather boa which cycy's meimei had put together (rachel n i went to buy materials with her but werent free to meet up to put it together)... proceeded to take pics of her n parade her round clarke quay b4 proceeding to the show. tink was not dramatic enough coz cycy took it veri well n didnt mind it at all but it did attract lotsa of attn esp fr tourist n pple in the pub :)

the good seats facing the stage was all taken up by the time we got there so stood ard at the available tables taking pics while waiting for the show to start. steph in charge of ordering drinks do got dunno wat drinks for us each (tasted more like orange juice than alcohol) n 2 round of shotz which cycy drank most of hence resulting in her being knocked out (actually not drunk, juz sleepy n vomitted abit in the end)

exotica was a group of guy dancers performing "raunchy" dances for ladies. cycy's dance sch was selling ticks so she decided to go ahead n plan her own hen's nite. performance itself was pretty short n tame n there were comical bits as well as some sexy moves, i.e. esp the booty shaking parts n the stripping parts (minimal stripping, mostly topless, the most was one who was left with g-strings at the end of his routine) which drove the other ladies to screams n us to school girl giggles ;)

u would be surprised that they acutally allowed photography n video etc etc so luckily i brought my cammy (even though itz spoilt again it works perfectly well in the dark ;p) along.. after the performance, the dancers changed n came ard to mingle with the crowd n not surprisingly, cycy got one of the dancer's attn with her props n he came over to dance n gamely posed for pics with her... the organisers fr her sch offered to arrange for whichever dancer she liked to dance with her later on (must give tips lah) but ard 12plus, cycy cant make it oredi n eventually ended up in one of the quieter corners napping...
after 1 yr of "anticipation", the dreaded move is finally here... am back at office now, ALONE, despite being a sunday coz i cant finish the stupid packing yesterday *sign*... literally dropped dead the moment i got hm after fathers' day dinner at changi. didnt even manage to watch the taiwanese talkshow which i catch every wk, slept at 10plus ;p
had an early farewell dinner on monday with colleagues in my dept, heng2, cherine, kim n tiffy. last min decision so no cammy to take pics...
speaking of cammy, my stupid cammy is SPOILT AGAIN??!?!!. showed these IT pple downstairs n those more pro ones say may be programming problem *sobs* must take leave n go down to the stupid service centre again!! it always had to give up on my when i needed to use it!!
back to farewell.... went to AUPE nearby to have a farewell lunch to a huge bunch of colleagues fr finance. 23 of us, most i know, 3 or 4 whom i barely even know juz joined in as well coz their colleagues asked them along ;p... had a 9 course lunch... quite fun to hv such a big group of us hving lunch 2gether. think the next time we'll meet up will be the durian tour at desaru next mth liao...

our dept
decided to go back today to get my sd card n portable hard disk. 1stly, was stuck in human jam at the pathway to the overhead bridge leading to suntec. then wa sandwiched inside the fair itself. so damn crowded, horrid. worst part was trying to actually squeeze all the way to the front of the stall to make purchases. no q so the only way u could get ur things was to push ur way thru to the front n attract any of the sales person's attn. managed to get a 1gb sd card for onli $33.30 and a 40gb portable hard disk for $124. supposedly veri gd bargains.

due to trip to pc show, was late for buffet with family. suppose to be xtremely belated mothers' day treat. reached onli ard 8pm even though planned to go at 7pm ;p... was veri tired by the time i reached there so started eating n had little time to take picz. onli managed to take pic of my 1st oyster ;)... the spread was onli so so for the price we paid though.

got mum a new hp last wkend. was foc coz me juz had to upgrade her plan to those normal plans instead of the previous 1 plus 1 plans. had to go buy a plastic cover as well as screen protector on monday in case she scratch her phone. also got myself a hard plastic casing to protec the stupid outer cover of my fragile phone too.
