had an early farewell dinner with my colleagues fr hq @ sakura toa payoh on fri :)..realised i was not the only one who was leaving the co. so it was farewell for both me n cindy.

sakura @ toa payoh had a slightly diff variety fr pasir ris (which was quite pathetic). think quite ok but the ventilation was horrid. a few of us were "grossed" out by the food smell when we 1st entered (not everyone likes smelling like food after eating. dats y i hate to go food fair coz u wld stink fr head to toe aft u come out fr there). h/r we were soon distracted by the food ;p
ate alot, esp the jap food such as sushi, chawanmushi, lotsa octopus, tempura, unagi n kami nabe (jap style paper steam boat)... not forgetting desserts like cheese cake, ice cream, fruits, durian puff...

kami nabe (not scolding bad word "nabe" is pot in japanese lah) was there fr 7plus all the way till 9plus (restuarant was already closing by then). got a lift fr lilian on the way back on cab :P
