"multiple personalities disorder"
went ahead to watch "mpd" yesterday despite being on mc n being veri sleepy after drinking cough syrup. luckily i went coz it was a really funny show. think it was better compared to hossan's previous play "the magic fundoshi" which i went for last yr. tink maybe coz could relate better to the theme n topics raised in "mpd"
had expected the storyline to be related to purely role playing by hossan, i.e. him mimicking celebrities such as "share" (cher), "whitney whooseturn" (whitney houston), "kenny rogered" (kenny rogers) etc... but in actual fact the show was more than that as the jokes and lyrics of the songs sung were related to our government's policy n everyday topics. one of the more memorable parts was the "great minister (or was it "parliamentary"??) workout".. h/r one probz was that i didnt really belong to the generation of most of the celebrities they featured so havent really heard some of their songs n know their trademark moves with the exceptions of michael jackson n whitney.
btw, me also saw mr miyagi aka the famous blogger aka the writer of this play in real life. he was sitting on the stairs right next to our row of seats at circle 1. sat there throughout the whole show. think he was there to see the turnout n overall reaction to the show.
