juz some picz from over the holidays
xmas
didnt go anywhere to countdown for both xmas n new year, me n my sisters concluded we are getting OLD!! arh~~~ lovely xmas tree @ bugis!!
spent xmas eve n xmas doing OT at work alone in the whole office bldg for the whole day coz cant finish my mth end closing ;p
brought my parents out for dinner on xmas itself. went to fish & co coz they had the shortest queue ;).. so crowded everywhere, macham free like dat..good old fish n chips for me

actually wanted to go watch fireworks but aft my experience during national day's display, i.e. waited at 5pm on the bridge at esplanade until 8plus to get a good spot n later on it took me an hr juz to walk back from the bridge to the mrt station due to the human jam, decided to rot at hm instead. luckily i didnt go coz my bro n his gf were caught in the rain while waiting for the fireworks :P
spent the eve watching dvd, i.e. korean drama "goong", which i bought a few weeks b4 but nvr actually had the chance to see yet. had seen a few episodes on tv but due to itz timing, nvr got to watch the whole series. decided to buy the whole set since i quite like the story and the prince of coz :P
went to cycy's hse for steam boat dinner on new year's day itself. quite fun coz we get to "prepare" a meal together since now cycy has her own home so no adults to supervise us mah ;).. one thing though, the steamboat cooker which her dearest mother-in-law gave her was on the verge of exploding coz we could smell wire n plastic burning n it made wierd sounds so we had to be careful while using it ensuring that we dun overheat it. had fun watching tv after dat as well but rachel had to work the next day (even though it was a public holiday coz she work bank mah) so we had to call it a nite early. looking forward to the next gathering. p.s. planning to maybe celebrate our 10th year of friendship this yr! ARH~~ so OLD OLD liao~~ house wifey! :P

me n rachel jap course
yupz, had the urge to start studying again. itz true afterall when pple say that when we were young we wanna grow up n start work but when we start work, we miss studying. took half day 2day (luckily i did coz by the time i got there ard 2.45, i.e. registration starts onli at 2.30, most of the classes were fully booked n luckily i got the day n timing i wanted) to go to jcs @ bugis to sign up for advance II course. found out their course fees were alot cheaper than in inoue last time. cost abt 350++ for 3mths last time in inoue but at jcs, it onli costs $575 for a whole yr of course (and you can pay in 3 installments instead of at one go)!! so much difference. no doubt the classes r alot bigger but me dun mind. anyway, itz on weekends so itz timing is great n itz at bugis which i consider accessible. plus they hv sorta like cca for students to take part like choir, ikebana, jap drum etc... which sounds "fun"...really miss going for classes n stuff..
anyway spent rest of the day going to the temple at bugis n roaming bugis street (but didnt allow myself to buy anything coz me going bangkok next wkend ;p). ended up hving a late lunch at han's @ national library where i borrowed some bks, reserved a bk and juz sat ard reading a mag. cant believe how relaxing it was to juz sit ard n read plus stare at all the other pple who are also as free to come to the library at that time of the day while knowing all my colleagues are busy at work. felt quite "bizarre", felt juz like dat time when i was visiting my grandma in the kampong during my kl trip.
besides jap classes, actually me hv the urge to sign up for another course. nothing confirmed yet coz still thinking abt it. wld be a big decision if i decide to go for it so must consider more than can "annouce"
