mid-autumn celebrations @ loyang tua pek kong
went down to loyang tua pek kong with mum n dad on thursday coz mum heard that the temple provided free food to worshippers on the 14th and 15th day of the lunar calender every mth. didnt wanna go on the actual day of mid-autumn's festival as it wld be xtremely crowded so decide to go a day earlier. BUT it turned out to be equally crowded as well. there were even free shuttle buses fr pasir ris mrt which was convenient for us. the q for the bus ride was pretty long by the time we got there n had to wait ard 15min.
we realised that the bus doesnt drop us directly at the doorstep of the temple but along the main road so we had to walk in. 5/6 trishaws were hired to pick up the elderly from the drop off pt to the temple which was abt a few hundred metres away.
