spent most of the weekend shopping coz itz pay day week!!
went to chinatown to pay for my hotel n proceeded to bugis coz wanted to check out tis new shopping mall called ICON. itz rite behind bugis shopping mall (not the side facing bugis st). it was featured in last wk's urban so wanted to see how it looked like. quite easy to spot as u can see fr the pic n it also had a speaker blasting music outside the building BUT itz pretty difficult to get across the road coz both the nearest traffic lights are ard 50-100metres away and traffic's pretty heavy...
wierd thing abt the place was there were no shops downstairs, u had to either take a lift up to levels 2-6 or climb up pretty steep steps. the 1st floor was a steamboat restuarant. the mall was filled with small shops, probably catering to young entrepreneurs. ard 7-8 (didnt really count) shops per floor, ranging fr clothings, accessories shops, bag shops, small gift shops, toy shops and even a flower and tattoo shop... but didnt really go into the shops coz was alone and it seems that there were more shop owners ard then shoppers. did see some nice bags n accessories prices were abit steep... tink i still prefer bugis st.
bought a cute chihuahua soft toy. itz been quite awhile since i bought any soft toy but it looked really cute and wasnt ex.
