my week...
mon 06/02...
aunt and uncle came all the way to sg to pick up my cousin who came back fr japan for visit. they left their car at another uncle's hse in jb n took a cab over to sg. we didnt know b4 hand and onli found out when they called fr jb. arrived in sg ard 4/5plus and me went hm on the dot so dat we can bring them out for dinner at changi end...
aft dinner, went over to the airport early ard 10plus despite the flight being scheduled at 11.30pm coz mum wanted to bring them ard to see the airport (dunno why but my relatives or i assume maybe generally tourist fr m'sia like to visit our airport as a tourist attraction ;P) went ard taking pictures and even took the skytrain over to t2 juz to walk ard. realised that they opened a few new shops over there n cant believe minitoons had a branch there... the uncle didnt seem to be in the mood to sight see coz he was anxious that we might miss the flight and kept looking at the flight schedules so brought them back to t1 to sit down at kopitiam for coffee n wait instead.. aunt took quite lot of pics coz some corners are decorated for cny like the one below: 
even though the flight touched down at 11.30, my cousin onli came out at 12.30 coz there were some problems with another passenger in q where she queued up at... spent 1 hr standing ard the arrival gates and me n my mum resorted to commenting on what the tourist bought from their trip :P...tue 07/02
didnt expect them to stay over for a day before going back so onli managed to take half day "urgent" leave in the afternoon to accompany them ard. met up with them at bugis street and did some shopping at og with them and later brought cousin ard to buy clothes after my parents went hm 1st coz dad cant walk ard too much yet.
the whole family brought them to changi end once again but this time round for chicken rice coz the uncle had a craving for chicken rice since afternoon at bugis street. he even wanted to come back to whitesands for chicken rice even though i brought them to the food court at bugis ;p...
the aunt n family went back on wed. booked a cab to bring them over to jb. had lotsa luggage with them n my mum even gave them this huge statue of the laughing buddha to bring back!

dinner with sis at marina... nancy's treat coz we decided to do away with the $50 budget for prezzies this yr coz always ended up giving each other cash so abit pointless. did get rachel a necklace which she liked fr dorothy perkins but didnt buy. pretended to go another shop to buy something but in actual fact went back to the shop to buy it for her. nancy got the both of us a draw string pouch fr this jap kimono inspired shop at citylink... aft dinner found some shops still opened but the prices were surprisingly ex. rachel spotted a top which cost $25.90 but my cousin bought the exact same design at bugis st for $9.90!! and i saw the skirt which i had bought earlier at bugis for $28 going for $39.90 there!
